Make opera come alive in your classroom!

The Minnesota Opera’s Teaching Artist brings a personal touch to opera through hands-on activities, performance and more. Session topics range from solo/ensemble coaching, voice lessons, career guidance, and preparing your students to attend a live performance. This tailor-made residency program is a collaborative effort between your school and The Minnesota Opera.

How do I sign up?

Contact Teaching Artist Vicki Fingalson at 612-342-9554 or by email vfingalson@mnopera.org and brainstorm ideas about how best to meet your classroom objectives. Call soon as dates are available on a first-come, first-served basis. This is a great way to explore the interdisciplinary nature of opera!

Length and cost of residencies:

We encourage residencies to last at least five days in length. Call about costs. Assistance in fundraising is available.
