What’s a Virtual Seat?

Income from tickets covers less than half the cost of producing opera. Endowment income is needed to bring opera to the stage, and a major gift to the endowment creates a “virtual seat.” That is, the income from such a gift is the financial equivalent of adding a seat to the Ordway Center, a seat sold for each performance, season after season. Please consider taking your “virtual seat” and securing the future of opera.
