A Day at the Opera

Nail your next audition!

In Minnesota Opera’s intensive day-long master class, high school singers will participate in a mock audition and learn how to prepare for success with tips such as what to bring, how to dress, and more. Students will also observe an opera rehearsal, tour the scene and costume shops, and go behind-the-scenes at the Opera Center to meet many of the creative, dynamic people involved in creating a professional opera. Finally, a question-and-answer session with Minnesota Opera’s 2017-2018 Resident Artists will provide an opportunity for students to ask working opera singers all their burning questions about about colleges, auditions, and life as a young professional singer!
