What are the Ticket Office hours?

Regular Hours: Mon.- Fri., 9am-6pm

Weekday Performances: phones are open until curtain.

Weekend Performances: phones open at 2pm for evening performances and at 10:30am for matinee performances.

 

How can I purchase opera tickets?

Single tickets and 3-, 4- or 5-opera subscriptions are available by phone, in person or online.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards. (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express). You can also pay with cash or check in person at the Minnesota Opera Ticket Office.

 

What is the refund, exchange, or cancellation policy?

All sales are final with no refunds. Any ticket may be returned for a tax deductible donation up until curtain by calling the Minnesota Opera Ticket Office. We will send a tax receipt to you acknowledging the value of the ticket, minus any applicable fees.

Single tickets are non-exchangeable. Only subscribers may make exchanges for a different performance or opera up to 1 hour prior to curtain by calling the Minnesota Opera Ticket Office. Exchanges are subject to availability. Visit our Subscriber Benefits page for more information.

 

What if I lose my ticket?

Call the Minnesota Opera Ticket Office to replace tickets free of charge. If you forget your ticket on the way to the theater, simply stop by the Ordway Box Office and we will reprint your ticket.

 

Are last minute tickets available?

Subject to availability, we offer a general public rush at Ordway, 90 minutes prior to curtain. Any remaining seat will be available at 50% off the regular ticket price. We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards. We do not accept gift certificates or discount coupons during rush.

 

Can I purchase an opera gift certificate?

Yes. Minnesota Opera gift certificates are available online, by phone, or in person at the Minnesota Opera Ticket Office. Gift certificates may be used toward payment for single tickets, season tickets or Behind the Curtain classes.

 

What are the different ticket prices and seating areas?

How do I get my tickets from Will Call?

Tickets held at Will Call are available to pick up 90 minutes prior to curtain at the Ordway Box Office.

 

Are discounted tickets available?

Student/Senior discounts are available on Weeknights only. Seniors 62+. For pricing information, visit our Single Tickets page. To purchase, call the Minnesota Opera Ticket Office.

Groups of 10 or more save up to 50% off regular ticket prices. For more information, visit our Groups Ticket page.

 

How do I purchase tickets online?

Please follow the steps below to purchase single tickets

  1. Visit our season information page
  2. Select the opera you would like to see and click on the performance you are interested in attending
  3. Select the general seating area you’d like to sit in (Orchestra, Mezzanine, Balcony, Gallery)
  4. Hover cursor over seat to see “view from seat image”
  5. Click on seat(s) you would like to purchase and click the Add to Cart button
  6. Review your order and click the Checkout button
  7. Log in or create a new account
  8. In the Complete My Order section, enter a coupon code (if applicable) and your payment information
  9. Click the Submit Order button

 

Please follow the steps below to purchase subscriptions

  1. Visit our season ticket information page
  2. Select which package you would like (5-Opera, 4-Opera, or 3-Opera)
  3. Click the “Buy Now” link on the day you’d like your season tickets to be on (Opening Night Saturday, Tuesday, Thursday, Second Saturday, or Sunday Matinee)
  4. Enter the quantity of packages you are buying (for instance, two if you are buying two season ticket packages, one for yourself and one for your spouse), and select the price level and associated area
  5. If you are buying a 3-Opera or 4-Opera package, select the operas you’d like to include in your subscription
  6. After you’ve made your selections, click the Add to Cart button
  7. Review your order and click the Checkout button
  8. Log in or Create a new account.
  9. In the Complete My Order section, enter a coupon code (if applicable) and your payment information.
  10. Click the Submit Order button.
