Kristin Morant

Ms. Morant’s opera performances have included some of the most spectacular coloratura roles in the repertory including:  Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Magic Flute, Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos, and Olympia in Les contes d’Hoffmann.  Ms. Morant maintains a warm relationship with the World Projects’ International Music Festival series, with which she has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Los Angeles’ Disney Concert Hall and Chicago Symphony Hall.  Ms. Morant has appeared with the Minnesota Opera, Twin Cities Lyric Theater, Gilbert and Sullivan’s Very Light Opera Company, University of Minnesota’s Opera Theatre, Exultate Festival Choir and Orchestra, Chorus Polaris and The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra.   A founding member of the singing comedy troupe, Opera on a Schtick, Ms. Morant admits to enjoying a bit of opera humor.
