Ordway


Minnesota Opera’s performance home is Ordway Center for the Performing Arts. The Ordway, recognized as one of the U.S.’s leading not-for-profit performing arts centers, is home not only to opera, but to a wide variety of performances throughout the year that encompass the finest in American musical theater, world music, dance and vocal artists. Since the Ordway opened, it has become known as Saint Paul’s most elegant and inviting performance space, attracting audiences from throughout the region to its diverse range of presentations. 

Minnesota Opera is part of a unique Arts Partnership with the Ordway and its other two resident companies, The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and The Schubert Club, which host their renowned productions each season.

From 94 eastbound: Take the Fifth Street exit. Follow Fifth Street to Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street. Ordway is on the right.

From 94 westbound: Take the Sixth Street exit. Follow Sixth Street to Washington Street. (Washington Street is the second left after St. Peter Street.) Turn left onto Washington Street. Proceed 1½ blocks. Ordway is on the right.

From 35E northbound: Take the Kellogg Boulevard exit. Turn right onto Kellogg Boulevard. Go to West Seventh Street. Turn left onto West Seventh Street. Go one block and turn right onto Fifth Street. Follow Fifth Street to Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street. Ordway is on the right.

From 35E southbound: Take the Tenth Street exit. Follow Tenth Street to Cedar Street and turn left onto Cedar Street. Follow Cedar Street to Sixth Street and turn right onto Sixth Street. Follow Sixth Street to Washington Street. (Washington Street is the second left after St. Peter Street.) Turn left onto Washington Street. Proceed 1½ blocks. Ordway is on the right.
