Triple Play: Literacy and the Arts
Reinvigorate your teaching with new ideas for building critical thinking in the music classroom. With a focus on understanding literacy and using the Critical Response protocol, this workshop provides classroom strategies that will help engage students in thinking critically about a variety of art forms, articulating connections between music, visual art, theater and literature, and building writing skills. The workshop is jointly presented by Minnesota Opera, Minnesota Orchestra and the Weisman Art Museum.
